I’m a Law School graduate with a specialization in International and European Law and a focus on Human Rights issues. After my graduation I worked as an intern for the German section of Amnesty International, where I supported the regional areas of Asia and America.

I came to Lesvos because - as a half-Greek and European - the situation at the external European borders also affects me on a more personal level. The European Union is founded on common values, including the respect for Human Rights, and seeing that these rights are not sufficiently respected by different parties is concerning and a situation that needs to be changed urgently. Therefore, I hope by working with Fenix as an Advocacy Officer, I can contribute to the improvement of the situation and to the empowerment of people that are in need of protection.
