I am a Law school graduate from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I also hold a double Master in European and Comparative Social Law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I am a qualified lawyer and I have also worked in legal research.
I decided to come to Lesvos because, as a Greek, I could not be unaffected by the humanitarian crisis in the islands. My experience on the field would offer me a holistic view of the current situation, as well as the opportunity to actually take action and provide legal support to people that exercise a human right, the right to asylum. I joined Fenix, an organization comprised of talented and passionate people from different backgrounds, that actively work towards the empowerment of asylum seekers in their journey, and I am very glad that I am part of their team.
